Responsibilities:

  • Set up and configure network devices, routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems, to safeguard against security threats.
  • Monitor network performance, analyze network traffic, and proactively identify and address bottlenecks and performance issues.
  • Plan and perform network upgrades and maintenance activities to ensure network reliability and scalability.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.

Preferred Skills::

  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA).
  • Experience with cloud networking and virtual private clouds (VPCs).
  • Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) concepts and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
